Aurdal and Kruk Trail Team

Aurdal and Kruk Løypelag (AKL) provides a first-class trail network with three large machines that keep the trails in top condition. During the high season – Christmas and New Year, the winter holiday weeks and Easter – the trails are groomed as often as necessary to give you the best skiing conditions. The rest of the winter, the trails are groomed before each weekend, and otherwise as needed, so you can always enjoy a trip out on freshly groomed tracks.

The trail network extends from Heimåsgrinda in the north (approximately 3 km north of Nythun), via Pilset and Smørlifjell to Aurdalsåsen – and further towards Bjørgovarden, Ølslykkja, Fjellsbygda and Tonsåsen in the south.

Here you will find miles of beautiful trails that wind through forests, open mountain terrain and fantastic views of Valdres – perfect conditions for both leisurely ski trips and longer summit hikes in the winter landscape.
