The Easter children's ski race on the slopes was a huge success

A total of 160 children participated when this year's children's ski race took place on Palm Sunday - in bright sunshine and with a real Easter atmosphere on the slopes.

This year's children's ski race was a great success, with 160 participants aged 2 and up. With sunshine from a cloudless sky and great conditions on the slopes, everything was set for a perfect day for both young and old.

In the finish area, our own Easter chickens – Danish friends Ludvig and Sofus – were waiting to give high fives to eager children after the finish. There were lots of smiles, laughter and good times throughout the event.

All participants were awarded an anniversary medal, as well as ski straps provided by Porsche Center Asker & Bærum – which was well received by both children and parents.

Around the children's playground, many parents and families had found their way comfortably into the sun-drenched area, helping to create a great setting for the event.

After the race, a number of prizes were also drawn for starting numbers, including goggles, buff, anniversary sweater, t-shirt and alpine socks.

The children's ski race confirms once again that Easter in Aurdal offers real skiing fun, community and great experiences for the whole family.

A big and warm thank you to the Maalø Thoresen family, who once again volunteered and helped make the Easter children's ski race possible. 👏
